As an organization, we are proud of our record in the community. Recently, the Foundation’s Executive Director, Shelley Ebenal, discovered that approximately $13,000 of Foundation donations were misappropriated. The Foundation discovered the problem early, then terminated a longtime employee and filed a criminal complaint against the former employee to protect the integrity of the donation process. Please be assured that all of the misappropriated funds were discovered, tracked and all donors have been given full credit for their donations.
