Join Ten Strings & A Goat Skin for an unforgettable night of live music, appetizers and desserts under the northern skies at Ski Land. Proceeds from this event benefit Interior Alaska Cancer Association. Tickets are $50 and are available by calling the Interior Alaska Cancer Association at 907-374-0974, visiting Alaska Camera or the J. Michael Carroll Cancer Center.

Workshops:

Far North Fiddle Fest workshops are open to community members ages 7 to adult. A wide variety of sessions will be available for all musicians, from beginner to intermediate and advanced players. In 2016, all workshops will be held on Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th at Ski Land. The 2016 Far North Fiddle Fest Workshop schedule will be published soon.  

All registered participants in the workshops will receive a commemorative 2016 Fiddle Fest t-shirt.

The cost of the workshops is $40 per day or $60 for both days. The 2016 FNFF Workshop Schedule includes classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced artists. Online registration is now available using the secure Pay Pal option below. You can also register for the workshops at Ski Land on the day of the event.

Pay Pal registration for workshops is now closed. You may still register for the workshops at Ski Land on Saturday or Sunday.

Benefit Concert:

FMH Hospice Benefit Concert

The 2016 Benefit Concert will be held at Davis Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Complex at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the FMH Hospice program. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for seniors, military and students and $10 for children 12 and under. Online tickets are available now using the secure Pay Pal option below. Tickets are also available in the Fairbanks Hospital Foundation Office by calling 458-5550.

The Pay Pal ticket option is now closed. Remaining tickets will be available at Davis Concert Hall beginning at 6:30 on Saturday night.

3rd Annual Community Discussion & Jam

The community discussion will be led by Ms. Jane Barton, a national expert on aging, caregiving and the highs and lows of life. Ms. Barton’s presentation, “Last Call for Care – What Happens When We Could Care Less” will give caregivers tips on how to recognize and mitigate compassion fatigue. Ms. Barton’s discussion will be followed by a performance by the April Verch Band and an open community jam session.

Workshops:
