Community discussion led by Dr. Jacob J. Strand, a national expert on hospice and palliative care, followed by a performance by The ALT and an open community jam session.

Far North Fiddle Fest workshops are open to community members ages 7 to adult. A wide variety of sessions will be available for all musicians, from beginner to intermediate and advanced players. All workshops will be held at Door of Hope Church, 270 Fairhill Road in Fairbanks. The full Fiddle Fest workshop schedule is attached here: workshops 2014.

All registered participants in the workshops will receive a commemorative 2014 Fiddle Fest t-shirt. Participants may register the day of the event, but the lines will be long. Pre-registration online is recommended. If you are pre-registered, check-in begins 30 minutes before the first session (12:30 on Thursday and Friday, 9:30 am on Saturday).

The cost of the workshops is $25 for one day, $50 for two days and $65 for all three days. To register, use the secure Pay Pal option below. You do not need a Pay Pal account to register for the workshops. Several needs-based scholarships are available. If you are registering multiple musicians, please complete the registration process for each individual workshop participant.
