Welcome to The Gala
The Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation is proud to present The Gala, our annual fundraising event in support of our non-profit, community hospital. Each year, we focus on the area of greatest need, and the funds raised during this elegant evening directly support that initiative.
Past Impact
In previous years, The Gala has supported the growth of our hospital’s Behavioral Health services. Thanks to our generous donors, we expanded addiction medicine programs, expanding to accommodate more adult inpatient beds, introducing beds for adolescents in our inpatient behavioral health unit, and purchasing and installing a PET-CT scanner.

This year, your support will help us take on a project of critical importance: the expansion of the Porter Heart & Vascular Center at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
Cardiovascular care is one of the fastest-growing needs in our region. In 2024 alone, the Center saw 2,507 vascular patient encounter- and by August of 2025, we had already reached 2.156, putting us on the for a 29% year-over-year increase. Cardiac visits totals 22,820 in 2024 and are expected to rise sharply again this year.
