Cancer patients, survivors and their families are celebrated all weekend long. There are ceremonial puck droppers and commemorative jerseys that are auctioned off at each game.

Fiddle Fest

Far North Fiddle Fest

Each September musicians from around the world gather in Fairbanks, Alaska to delight an audience of many with the infections sounds of Irish, folk and bluegrass music and dancing.

The brainchild of Dr. Andrew Cox, the Far North Fiddle Fest (FNFF) is a benefit for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital Hospice Services and a salute to the organizations volunteers. The festival that spans several days offers small group workshops on dancing and various instruments to the community, performs at many of the local schools and culminates in a wonderful performance.

This year’s FNFF is scheduled for September 12-15, 2019 and will include artists Molsky’s Mountain Drifters, Duo Duo Quartet and Alasdair Fraser. The event is perfect for all ages. We hope you will be able to attend!

Perinatal Bereavement Bake Sale and Auction

Each December the nurses from the Women’s and Infant Center at FMH hold a bake sale and silent auction for the benefit of the Perinatal Bereavement program at FMH.

This program is very near and dear to the hearts of all of the nurses involved and funding for the program comes only from donations and activities like this bake sale. We welcome baked goods and auction items from the community!

We invite the community to attend. Watch for this year’s date!
