Wally is an Athabascan native born in Tanana and raised in Ruby, Galena, and Fairbanks. He attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Long Beach Business College. He is a member of the Union of Operating Engineers Local 302. Wally is the Doyon Drilling Director and President of the Fairbanks Resource Foundation. He served on the Doyon Limited Board and was chair of the Finance and Investment Committee. Wally joined the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation Full Board of Trustees in 1990. Wally enjoys biking, hiking, running, skiing, and lifting weights.
