Employee Giving
We're Better Together!
Each fall, employees are invited to participate in an employee-giving campaign where they can pledge to donor support programs and projects that benefit patients and residents of Foundation Health Partners, the United Way, their member agencies, and any nonprofit in our community. Our employees are well-versed in the varied needs of our community, and, in true caregiver fashion, they are very generous.
Foundation Health Partners offers payroll deduction as a benefit so employees can make their gift a little bit at a time to make BIG IMPACTS over a year.
With support from the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation, employees can direct their philanthropic gifts to programs like Circle of Hope, Pregnancy Bereavement, Gift of Life, Behavioral Health, Porter Heart Center, J. Michael Carroll Cancer Center, and more. A unique employee project was added to the list of options in 2022. The staff-created and driven initiative is to create a Comfort Cart that can be transported directly into a patient's room stocked with care and respite items for the family gathered at a loved one's bed as they receive end-of-life care at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
We appreciate the relationship with United Way of the Tanana Valley and the opportunity to participate in the annual United Way Campaign. The yearly campaign gives employees a chance to support nonprofit agencies that provide essential health and human services in the Tanana Valley and is the perfect complement to the work happening inside the walls of Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, Denali Center, Hospice Services, Tanana Valley Clinic, and more!
Better Together was born from the idea that employees want the choice to support multiple programs with their donations. Regardless of their choice, we know our community is better off with the financial support from our staff to the Hospital Foundation, United Way, and the many nonprofit organizations that provide wrap-around services to our community.
