Hospice Plant Sale
HOSPICE PLANT SALE
a benefit for FHP Hospice Services patients
This event is an annual fundraiser coordinated almost entirely by dedicated volunteers from our community that have a shared love of gardening, a huge appreciation for the Hospice Services team, and a desire to ensure final wishes are granted to hospice patients.
100% of the proceeds from this sale go directly to support patients receiving compassionate end-of-life care from the FHP team of nurses, social workers, and volunteers. Funds have been used to provide many forms of assistance, including caregiver respite services, groceries, lifeline payments, and equipment that allows patients to remain in comfortable and familiar surroundings of their homes during their final phase of life.

SUPPORT THE EVENT
- Donate Items - Donations of 4” pots, six-packs, starter plants, vegetables, perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, trees, shrubs, house plants, and dirt, as well as lawn & garden tools, and décor can be delivered to the Hospice Greenhouse Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 7 pm and Fridays from 9 am – 4 pm up until the day before the plant sale. For the health of house plants, those donations will be accepted at the greenhouse after May 15th.
- Shop at the sale - Mark your calendar and get in line early to shop a vast selection of plants, trees, shrubs, tools, and décor!
- Donate - You can donate to the Hospice Plant Sale effort. This is an excellent option for people who can’t make the sale, want to contribute at a higher level than their shopping total, or simply anyone who wants to make sure this fundraiser is wildly successful.
Monetary donations are charitable gifts, and a tax letter will be provided. Donations can be made online by selecting Hospice and noting Plant Sale in the note section. Donors can also mail or phone their contributions to the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation. In-kind donations (donations of goods or services) are greatly appreciated, and a tax letter can be provided for those as well; just be sure to fill out the in-kind donation form that can be picked up at the Greenhouse.
