Hospice Plant Sale

The Annual Hospice Plant Sale is a cherished Fairbanks tradition, lovingly run by a group of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about gardening and supporting the Hospice Program.

Our Process

Each year, our Hospice volunteers begin planting seeds early in the season. When the weather warms up, these seedlings are transferred to the Hospice Greenhouse, where they are nurtured with care until the sale. As you start your planting season, consider planting a flat or two of extra plants, flowers, or vegetables. We also welcome community contributions including perennials, hanging baskets, trees, shrubs, and houseplants. In addition, we gladly accept donations of lawn and garden tools, décor, and pots.

Donation dates vary depending on the weather, and we accept items at the Hospice Greenhouse leading up to the sale. Be sure to follow our social media channels and other publications for updates on donation times.

Event Details

Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2026, starting at 9am, for the Hospice Plant Sale.  For the first time in the sale’s history, the date is changed due to the unseasonably cold spring—Eager attendees often line up early to grab the best plants and gardening supplies.  Located at 2000 Turner Street.

Supporting Hospice

All proceeds from the Hospice Plant Sale go directly into a designated fund that supports the needs of Hospice patients, ensuring they receive the care and comfort they deserve.
