Far North Fiddle Fest

Far North Fiddle Fest

Each September musicians from around the world gather in Fairbanks, Alaska to delight an audience of many with the infectious sounds of Irish, folk, and bluegrass music and dancing.

The brainchild of Dr. Andrew Cox, the Far North Fiddle Fest (FNFF) is a benefit for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital Hospice Services and a salute to the organization's volunteers. The festival that spans several days offers small group workshops on dancing and various instruments to the community, performs at many of the local schools and culminates in a wonderful performance.

This year’s Far North Fiddle Fest is scheduled for September 7 - 8, 2024 and will feature The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc, Quintet from Maxwell Street Klezmer Band, Troy MacGillivray, Caitlin Warbelow, Wendy MacIsaac and Sabra MacGillivray

The event is perfect for all ages. We hope you will be able to attend!

Together: Casting a Light

On March 23, 2024, we will come together to cast a light on Behavioral Health care in Fairbanks.

This event is a continuation of the campaign started in 2019 to raise $1 million to grow outpatient behavioral health services in Fairbanks.

The evening will feature a four-course dinner with wine pairing, a wine pull, and an outcry auction along with special entertainment and guest speakers. The Gala will be an evening of socializing, raising funds for critical needs in our community, and learning more about this important cause.

Special thanks to presenting sponsors Kinross Fort Knox. If you're interested in sponsoring or attending this event, please call 907-458-5550.
